Ian Billings was born at a very young age and has done lots of things - some of which we can mention. He is 5’ 7” tall in his socks and the same length lying down. Among his hobbies are hiccuping, wobbling jelly and waving at goats.

Author of the popular Sam Hawkins: Pirate Detective books (among others), Ian has also written over fifty professional pantomimes and episodes of CBBC’s “ChuckleVision.” He has an MA from Birmingham University and is going back next year for the rest of the alphabet.

Ian is one of the only stand-up comics for children in the world and performs globally, including in Qatar, Switzerland, Egypt, Russia, Thailand, Vietnam, Jordan and Australia. He has worked in over 3,000 schools.
