Jeremy Taylor

After growing up in Bristol, England, Jeremy Taylor moved to Germany where he started writing books. He also learned German before moving on to Egypt where he spent two years working at a university, exploring the country and writing more books. Then he moved to Czechoslovakia where he started writing graded readers and from there to Dublin in Ireland where he started training teachers - and writing more books. Sadly he didn’t learn Irish but did pick up Spanish.
From Ireland he moved to France where he wrote more books (including three in French) before moving to the Czech Republic, where he now lives (and writes books). He is a mad cyclist and he once cycled up to North Cape at the top of Norway and back. He has six bikes - and no car. As well as writing, he loves cooking, travelling and photography. One of his favourite countries is Peru. He’s been there twice and loves the food, the landscape and the people.
He’s been an enthusiastic reader all his life so is now happy to have written over one hundred books in both print and digital versions. He writes all kind of books but he is a fan of comedy and in many of his books there is quite a bit of humour. Two of his readers were finalists in the LLLB awards: Grandad’s Eleven and Black Gold.
