Sarah Gudgeon is originally from a small town just outside Manchester in the north of England, but she moved to Italy in 2002 and has been there ever since. A self-confessed bookworm and lover of all things literary, Sarah has spent her life reading, writing and buying stationery... one can never have too many notebooks according to Sarah! As an award-winning ELT author with over 25 years’ experience as an English teacher, Sarah has worked with leading publishers including ELI, Pearson, Sanoma and Zanichelli. Sarah is a strong advocate for literacy and a true believer in the power of reading. She is a founding member of the Extensive Reading Association Italy where she puts her degree in journalism to good use as Editorial Lead on the newsletter.
